Relieve and understand menopausal symptoms - "Hormone Balance" - through the menopause with ease.

Around the age of 40, women start to notice the first hormonal changes, which can also manifest themselves physically, such as joint problems or mood swings.

However, if you are already at this age, you may be familiar with physical changes such as sudden weight gain, less energy in everyday life or hot flushes. All these and other symptoms can occur due to changes in hormone production. The symptoms can quickly become a burden and in some cases have a negative impact on your quality of life.

In our workshop on alleviating menopausal symptoms in NRW, we combine tried-and-tested treatment methods and knowledge about the midlife period. The two nutrition coaches Andrea and Doro (Fooduo®) will help you to regain your well-being during the menopause and therefore invite you to a 3-day "Hormone Balance Workshop" at the Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen.

What helps during the menopause? - Menopause - alleviate symptoms.

During the menopause, also known as the climacteric, women go through a natural phase of life in which the hormone balance in a woman's body changes from a certain age and which is characterised by physical and, in particular, hormonal changes. Various symptoms, complaints and even depression due to the absence of menstruation can have an impact on general well-being and attitude to life.

Reducing menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes, should therefore be the focus during the menopause. During this phase of life, many women resort to home remedies, herbal remedies and hormone preparations to alleviate the symptoms. However, a holistic approach that combines diet, exercise and relaxation can be even more helpful.

The menopause is a very individual experience for every woman and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It is important to listen to your body's signals and give it what is good for it. The right diet, exercise and relaxation are fundamental pillars in dealing with the menopause in women and their symptoms.

The "Hormone Balance" workshop can help you develop a customised approach that meets your personal needs and goals. Andrea and Doro from Fooduo® look forward to guiding you through this transition.

Hormone production and nutrition - Symptoms and complaints in menopausal women.

The menopause is a phase of hormonal change that can lead to various symptoms. One common symptom is sweating, which is often accompanied by hot flushes. This change in a woman's life stage can also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Eating properly during the menopause can help women to rebalance their hormones. Due to hormonal fluctuations, many women also find it more difficult to lose or maintain their weight during the menopause than before. A balanced diet rich in fruit, vegetables, wholemeal products and lean protein can help to reduce hot flushes, weight gain and other symptoms of the menopause by simple means and prevent a possible oestrogen-dependent disease. To support this, regular moderate exercise, such as long walks or yoga, is recommended.

Stress reduction and vitamin D - Remedy for menopausal symptoms.

Stress can exacerbate menopausal symptoms. A stay in a spa hotel offers the opportunity to relax and reduce stress. You can learn relaxation techniques and reduce stress in a tranquil environment. Hot water treatments such as whirlpools, thermal baths and saunas can help to relieve muscle tension and alleviate pain. Sports such as yoga and Nordic walking or various meditation techniques are effective methods of stress management and relaxation to alleviate menopausal symptoms. Those who consume sufficient phyto-oestrogens (such as soya and linseed), healthy fats, calcium, vitamin D and fibre during the menopause and also ensure a balance of good HDL cholesterol and bad LDL cholesterol can alleviate symptoms.
