Relieve and understand menopause symptoms"Hormone Balance" - With ease through menopause.

From around the age of 40, women begin to notice the first hormonal changes, which can also become apparent physically, such as joint problems or mood swings.

However, if you are already at this age, you may be familiar with it: physical changes such as sudden weight gain, less energy in everyday life or even hot flashes. All of these and other symptoms can occur due to changes in the production of hormones. The symptoms can quickly become stressful and in some cases have a negative impact on the quality of life.

In our workshop to relieve menopause symptoms, we combine tried-and-tested treatment methods and knowledge about midlife. The two nutrition coaches Andrea and Doro (Fooduo®) will help you regain your well-being during the menopause and therefore invite you to a 3-day “Hormone Balance Workshop” from December 15th to 17th, 2023 at the Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen.

During a two-night stay, you will be well looked after in our restaurant with breakfast and dinner, while in the 3-day menopause workshop you will learn everything about the changes in your body and how to alleviate the symptoms through the right diet during menopause. In addition, you will be taught mindfulness and meditation exercises that will enable you to get through the menopause with ease. What helps during menopause?Menopause – relieve symptoms.

During menopause, also known as climacteric, women go through a natural phase of life in which the hormonal balance in the woman's body changes from a certain age and is characterized by physical and, in particular, hormonal changes. Various symptoms, complaints and even depression caused by missed periods can have an impact on your general well-being and attitude to life.

The focus should therefore be on alleviating menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, during the climacteric period. During this phase of life, many women turn to home remedies, herbal remedies and hormone preparations to relieve the symptoms. A holistic approach that combines nutrition, exercise and relaxation can be even more helpful.

Menopause is a very individual experience for every woman and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It is important to listen to your body's signals and give it what is good for it. Proper nutrition, exercise and relaxation are fundamental pillars in dealing with menopause in women and its symptoms.

The “Hormone Balance” workshop can help you develop a tailored approach that meets your personal needs and goals. Andrea and Doro from Fooduo® look forward to accompanying you in this transition.

Hormone production and nutritionSymptoms and complaints during menopause.

Menopause is a phase of hormonal changes that can lead to various symptoms. A common symptom is sweating, which is often accompanied by hot flashes. In addition, this change at a woman's stage of life can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Eating right during menopause can help women bring hormones back into balance. Due to hormonal fluctuations, many women find it more difficult than before to lose weight during menopause or to maintain their weight. A balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein can help reduce hot flashes, weight gain, and other symptoms of menopause with simple remedies and prevent possible estrogen-dependent disease. To support this, regular moderate exercise, such as long walks or yoga, is recommended.

Stress reduction and vitamin DRemedies for menopausal symptoms.

Stress can worsen menopausal symptoms. A stay at a spa hotel offers the opportunity to relax and de-stress. In a quiet environment you can learn relaxation techniques and reduce stress. Hot water treatments such as hot tubs, thermal baths, and saunas can help relieve muscle tension and relieve pain. Sports such as yoga and Nordic walking or various meditation techniques are effective methods of stress management and relaxation to relieve menopausal symptoms. If you consume enough phytoestrogens (such as soy and linseed), healthy fats, calcium, vitamin D and fiber during menopause and also ensure that the good HDL cholesterol and the bad LDL cholesterol are balanced, you can alleviate symptoms.
