Take a deep breath, feel the fresh forest air, and leave everyday life behind. Our three-day mindfulness retreat, “Strong by Nature”, combines intense workouts, yoga, breathing techniques, and meditation with the healing power of nature—helping both body and mind regain strength.

Under the guidance of guest fitness trainer Vanessa Kupke, you will experience dynamic training sessions that stimulate your cardiovascular system and build muscle. These intensive workouts are perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings—under the canopy of trees, where every movement connects with the energy of nature. When the weather is favorable, sessions take place outdoors so you can fully enjoy the fresh air and the natural strength of the forest. In case of less ideal weather, the program continues indoors without losing its intensity.

Yoga elements enhance flexibility and balance, while targeted breathing techniques strengthen the body and calm the mind. Guided meditations allow you to find inner peace and create space for serenity.

The idyllic Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen is the perfect retreat to experience all these elements in harmony. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, "Strong by Nature" offers a retreat that strengthens both your body and mind, guiding you to a new level of mindfulness.

Vanessa’s approach combines intensity, regeneration, and mindfulness in a powerful way. Through a holistic blend of high-energy workouts, yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises, she helps align body and mind. This retreat includes both proven relaxation techniques and challenging fitness sessions, designed to improve your physical condition while fostering inner tranquility. No specific fitness level is required—a positive attitude towards movement is all you need to benefit from this experience. 

On request, you can also participate as a Day Spa guest (without an overnight stay). Please contact us directly for more information.

  • Friday, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Meditation, Pranayama & Body Awareness in Nature
    Arrive, relax your body, mind, and soul. "Find yourself and come to peace!"
  • Saturday, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Full Body Workout
    An intense, sweat-inducing outdoor session, individually tailored to your fitness level and enhanced with various equipment. "Let’s push our limits!"
  • Sunday, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Strong Core & Deep Relaxation
    Focus on strengthening the core (abs & back), followed by a relaxation session and guided visualization with a singing bowl.

Vanessa Kupke is married, 40 years young and the proud mother of a boy. She has been teaching fitness and health with a lot of passion for more than 25 years now. Your personal compensation is teaching yoga, autogenic training or progressive muscle relaxation. Find peace, collect yourself, inner mindfulness and conscious breathing bring body and mind into harmony.

She goes into every sweaty workout with a lot of joy and commitment and likes to push her participants to their limits.
