Good to know: - This is how the world celebrates Valentine's Day!

It’ll soon be that time of year again – we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day. Some say it’s the day for lovers; others say it’s the day for florists and chocolate makers. Many say that for us, every day is Valentine’s Day, so we don’t need a special day to celebrate love. Here, too, opinions differ – surely it’s better to celebrate love once a year than not at all, isn’t it? Has it really become such an unspectacular matter of course that it has crept away, quietly and unobtrusively?

One thing is certain: 14 February is all about the most beautiful feeling of all – love! Whether we share these emotions with someone, whether we mark or ignore Valentine’s Day, whether you’re an ardent supporter or a staunch opponent of the occasion – ultimately, this day is about bringing joy to a loved one. But romantic ideas, gift guides and recipes are a dime a dozen. I’ve done some digging for you and unearthed some exciting things about the Day of Love from different parts of the world.
